This policy describes the native iOS game Unplugme (bundle ID com.not.unplugme). The game is a fictional strategy simulation. Its simulated countries, populations, AI and events are game content, not information about real players.
The game stores your current saved game and sound settings in iOS app storage. A save may include the AI name you choose, progress, choices, and game statistics. The game does not upload the save to our server. Your device and Apple may include app data in device backups according to your backup settings. Finishing a game removes its save; new progress replaces the earlier save when it is saved. Deleting the app removes its app storage.
Game analytics is off by default. If you turn it on in Settings, we use Amplitude to understand how the game is used and improve it. Amplitude receives a random identifier generated for the app and stored in the iOS Keychain, an identifier maintained by its SDK, event names and times, and limited event properties such as the selected AI type, difficulty, country, game day, upgrades, and game results. The SDK may also receive technical properties such as app version, device model, operating system, language, and IP address; Amplitude may derive an approximate location from the IP address. We do not intentionally send your complete saved game, contact details, precise location, or advertising identifier to Amplitude. The AI name you type is not included in our event properties.
Analytics is used only for product improvement and troubleshooting, not advertising or tracking you across other companies’ apps or websites. We do not sell personal data. The Amplitude server zone in this version is the United States, so analytics data may be processed there. Amplitude’s privacy notice describes its practices.
You can turn analytics off at any time in Settings. This stops new game events from being sent. It does not automatically erase events already received by Amplitude. To request deletion of existing analytics data, email us at the address above. Include the analytics identifier if you have obtained it from us during a support request; do not send sensitive information unnecessarily. We will help identify your data and handle requests under applicable law. Uninstalling the game stops future collection but may not erase the Keychain identifier or previously received analytics data.
There is no game account, cloud save, in-app purchase, active advertising SDK, microphone access, or precise-location access in this version. Apple processes information needed to distribute the app and provide device backups under Apple’s privacy policy. If you contact us by email, we use your message and address to answer you and handle your request; your email provider and ours may process that correspondence.
We share analytics data with Amplitude only when you have enabled it. We may disclose information if required by law or necessary to protect our rights, but we do not otherwise share game saves.
Where European data protection law applies, local save processing is necessary to provide the game you use; optional analytics relies on your consent; and support correspondence is processed to respond to your request and meet applicable obligations. You can withdraw analytics consent in Settings without affecting gameplay.
Local saves and preferences remain until replaced, cleared, or the app is deleted, subject to your device backups. The analytics identifier may remain in the Keychain after uninstalling the app. Amplitude keeps data under our service settings and its retention practices; contact us for the period applicable to your data or to request deletion. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to resolve the request and meet legal obligations. We use iOS app storage and Keychain protections and encrypted network transport for analytics. No security measure is absolute.
Depending on where you live, you may request access to, correction or deletion of, or restriction or objection to processing of personal data, or request portability. You may also complain to a data protection authority. Contact us at the email above. We may need information to verify and locate a request, and will respond within the time required by law.
The game is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age at which you may give valid consent to optional analytics in your country, leave analytics off or ask a parent or guardian to make that choice.
We may update this policy as the game changes. We will revise the date above and provide notice in the app or App Store listing when a change materially affects your privacy.
