Four participants were interviewed across the roles most directly involved in the FX repatriation workflow — two middle office analysts, an FX trader, and an IT systems manager. Each session followed a semi-structured discussion guide covering workflow and tools, pain points and challenges, feature preferences, and AI adoption readiness. The goal was to surface not just what was broken, but why it mattered and what a better solution would need to do to earn trust.
The four perspectives cover the full workflow: the analyst running the day-to-day cycle, the analyst working in a resource-constrained environment, the trader consuming middle office output, and the systems engineer maintaining the infrastructure underneath.
