DGOneInspector — User Manual

Overview

DGOneInspector is an Unreal Engine editor productivity plugin. It lets you act on items in the World Outliner, Details panel, and Components panel using keyboard shortcuts — without clicking to select first. Just hover your mouse over any item and press a key.

Core philosophy: Save your time. Boost your development efficiency.


Requirements

Build config Editor builds only (not packaged game)

Installation

  1. Copy the DGOneInspector folder into your project’s Plugins/ directory.
  2. Open your .uproject file and add the plugin entry, or enable it via Edit → Plugins.
  3. Restart the editor. The plugin loads at PostEngineInit.
  4. Verify: open Edit → Editor Preferences → Keyboard Shortcuts and search for DGOneInspector to confirm the commands are registered.
