Voice Changer & Voice Effects — Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (”Terms”) govern your use of the Voice Changer & Voice Effects mobile application (”the App”), published by Half Layer (”we”, “us”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on any Apple device that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service and Apple’s Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement. This licence is for your own personal, non-commercial use.

2. What you may not do

You may not:

• Copy, redistribute, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, or attempt to derive its source code, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law
• Extract, scrape, or redistribute the App’s effect presets, artwork, or other bundled content as a standalone dataset or in a competing product
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
• Use the App in a way that breaks any applicable law

3. What you record is your responsibility

The App is a tool for changing the sound of audio you record yourself. You are solely responsible for what you record and for what you do with the result. You must not use the App to record anyone without the consent required where you live, to impersonate another person in order to deceive, defraud, or harass them, to create audio intended to mislead others about what someone actually said, or in any other way that breaks the law or infringes someone’s rights. We have no ability to see or moderate your recordings, so this responsibility rests entirely with you.

4. Ownership

The App, its name, its design, its artwork, and its effect presets are owned by us and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a licence to use the App, not ownership of it. The audio you record with the App is yours, and we claim no rights over it.

5. Price, purchases, and advertising

The App is free. It contains no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no advertising, and no paid content of any kind. We will not introduce charges to a version of the App you have already downloaded. If we introduce optional purchases in a future version, they will be clearly described at the time and will never be required to record audio or to apply the App’s effects.

6. Your data

The App collects nothing about you. Your recordings and settings are stored only on your device. This is described in full in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
