Voyset is operated by Zhenning Tan (“Voyset,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Voyset app, its optional sharing service, and its public support and privacy pages.
Voyset does not require an account for trip planning. Your profile, home base, trips, destinations, dates, itinerary items, traveler names, packing lists, booking details, confirmation numbers, notes, attachments, and settings are stored locally on your device.
This information remains until you edit or delete it, delete Voyset and its data, or restore the device from a backup you control. Apple or your device provider may include app data in device backups according to your settings and their policies.
Local trip information is not uploaded to Voyset's sharing service unless you deliberately use a feature described below.
Voyset uses Apple MapKit to search for destinations, places, businesses, landmarks, airports, and addresses; display maps; and request route estimates. Search text, selected destinations, map regions, planned coordinates, and related technical information may be sent to Apple to return these results.
Voyset does not request access to your device's current GPS location. Apple explains its handling of Maps information in Apple Maps & Privacy.
Voyset collects minimal anonymous app-usage analytics without interrupting onboarding. You can turn analytics off from your profile, and Voyset works the same when analytics is off.
When analytics is enabled, Voyset may send Supabase:
Analytics never include trip or local record identifiers, destinations, dates, names, notes, locations, search text, booking or confirmation details, profile contents, contacts, advertising identifiers, or private share links. Voyset does not use the random identifier to determine your real-world identity or combine it with third-party data.
Turning analytics off stops future collection and removes unsent analytics events from the local retry queue. Analytics events already received by Voyset are automatically deleted within 90 days. Because the identifier is intentionally anonymous and is not connected to an account, we cannot reliably identify particular analytics records as belonging to a specific person.
