Information We Collect

WORTH IT is a local-first consumer goods usage tracker. By default, your data is stored on your device — not on our servers.

Information you may provide includes:

• Item information: photos, names, categories, purchase prices, purchase dates, optional brand, and target settings for the items you add;
• Usage records: the time and source (iPhone / widget / Watch) of each use event;
• Device & diagnostics: anonymized crash reports and aggregated usage statistics (if you allow).

WORTH IT does not require an account, does not access your bank or card information, and never asks you to upload purchase receipts.

How We Use Information

We use the information above to:

• Calculate cost per use, payback progress, and rankings for the core features on your device;
• Sync items and records across your Apple devices via iCloud (CloudKit), only when you opt in;
• Improve the product (aggregated statistics, without photos, original item names, or exact amounts).

Data Storage & Security

Item photos and purchase amounts are stored locally on your device by default. If you enable iCloud sync, data is synced across your devices through Apple's iCloud / CloudKit service, protected by Apple's privacy and security mechanisms.

We do not store your item photos, original item names, or exact amounts on our servers.

Third-Party Services

• Apple iCloud / CloudKit: optional cross-device sync (Apple handles storage and transmission);
• App Store In-App Purchase: purchases are processed by Apple; we never handle your payment details;
