Q: The app can't detect my current location. What should I do? Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Warmly Weather and make sure location access is enabled. We recommend selecting "While Using the App." If the issue persists, try force-quitting and relaunching the app.
Q: I can't find the city or region I'm looking for. Try using a more complete place name (e.g., include the province or state). If a specific location consistently doesn't appear, please let us know via email.
Q: How do I set a custom name or label for a location? On the Locations list page, tap the "···" button in the top-right corner, then select the Location Labels option. From there, enter the customization page to edit the name and label for any location.
Q: Where does the weather data come from? Warmly Weather uses professional meteorological data sources to provide weather information — including current conditions, hourly forecasts, and air quality. For more details, please refer to our Terms of Service. Data is refreshed on a regular basis.
Q: The weather data seems inaccurate or differs from other apps. Different weather services use different data models and update schedules, so some variation between apps is normal. If you believe you've spotted a significant error, please send us an email with the location and time in question.
Q: Which regions support Air Quality Index (AQI) data? AQI data currently covers China. Coverage may also vary depending on the range of searchable locations. Support for other regions varies by data source.
Q: My widget isn't showing anything, or it's stuck on "Loading." Make sure you've added at least one location, including a location-based place. After adding the widget, give it a moment to load data for the first time. If the issue continues, try removing and re-adding the widget.
Q: The widget keeps showing outdated weather data. iOS limits how frequently widgets can refresh — this is a system-level restriction and is expected behavior. To trigger an immediate update, open the main app. The widget will typically sync shortly after.
Q: What widget sizes are available? Warmly Weather currently supports small and medium widget sizes. The medium size features a dual-location layout, letting you see weather for two places at once. More widget types are on the way.
