Have you ever been involved in the process of planning a wedding? You would be able to relate well to how grateful one would feel to be able to check wedding venues off the list of items to plan for as quickly as possible!
Weddings involve a lot of planning and this translates to stress, thus the need for people to be able to leverage technology to quickly find venues, and get all the information they need to book the venue without leaving their house. This e-commerce app will list wedding venues so that users can easily search for and find one that meets their goals.
The final high-fidelity prototype presented a more interactive flow for searching for and booking a wedding venue.

Wedding Venues came about as an idea for a personal project. It was while I was helping to plan a wedding early in the year that I discovered how there was no product yet that people could use to search for wedding venues, and see all the information that they need to be able to book the venue for their event. It took us two weeks to be able to secure a venue for a wedding that was barely one month away!
You could think of technologies like Google search, but Google only lists these places, and oftentimes doesn’t provide a reliable means for you to get in touch with venue management. And in cases where the event centers don’t have a website, reaching them by phone might prove abortive because in many cases the phone numbers listed are no longer in use.
