Write no more than 5 sentences about how computation applies to your interests, due 24 hours before the next class. Pick one of the following to address (a,b, or c):

a. Something you studied, a job, a hobby, or a cause you care about.

Last summer, I interned as an AIGC video editor, creating AI-generated short dramas. I used AI to turn scripts into video clips and then edited them into complete stories. Through this experience, I learned how computation can make filmmaking more accessible and allow creators to experiment with ideas that would be difficult to produce traditionally.

In the same post (or a new one), point to one thing in your code that you'd like us to talk about in class. Cite the line number(s). Be prepared to talk about why it's interesting to you.

//Wink!
if (mouseIsPressed) {
stroke(0);
strokeWeight(6);
line(225, 200, 275, 200);
} else {
fill(100, 60, 30);
ellipse(250, 200, 50, 50);
fill(0);
ellipse(250, 200, 20, 20);
}

The if (mouseIsPressed) statement in my work checks whether the mouse is being pressed. If it is, the code draws a black line to make the eye look closed. Otherwise, the else statement draws the iris and pupil to make the eye look open. I find this interesting because a simple condition can make the character respond to the user's actions, making the drawing feel more interactive.
