A host is a role in the Viewer. They run events in the Viewer and help others in their roles during an event or meeting.

Host in the Builder

In the Builder, hosts do the following:

• Login and accept their role as a host for an event or meeting

Host in the Viewer

In the Viewer, hosts do the following:

• Manage event announcements
• Assist people in the chats – event chat, room chat, roles chats, custom chat, help messages, and report something
• Operate engagements – frames, links, games, quizzes, visual effects, audio effects
• Room controls – dim lights, tint and frost windows, shut doors, open curtains
• Assist speakers – manage presentation screens with screen controls, help with audience participation
• Role support – assist other roles by seeing their role sidebars: speakers, table captains, booth exhibitor
• Oversee other roles – attendee list, roles list, event VIPs, screen names changed, remove person

Inviting a host

To invite a new host,

• Go to the dashboard
• Click on an event or meeting card
• Go to the roles tab in the event or meeting page
• Scroll down to hosts, click on the blue host invitation page link
