A table captain is a role in the Viewer. They typically invite people to be their guest at their table (although they do this outside of the Airevent system).

In the Builder, table captains do the following:

• Login and accept their role as a table captain for an event or meeting

Table Captain in the Viewer

In the Viewer, table captains do the following:

• They typically invite people to be their guest at their table (although they do this outside of the Airevent system)
• Facilitate table conversations and guest participation
• Check to see which of their guests have arrived
• Encourage those who have not arrived to attend

Inviting a table captains

To invite a new table captain,

• Go to the dashboard
• Click on an event or meeting card
• Go to the roles tab in the event or meeting page
• Scroll down to table captains, click on the blue table captain invitation page link
• In the table captain invitation page, click on the add table captain button ****at the top
• In the new table captain fields below, enter the table captain’s information
• Click on the invite button to the left of their name
  • An invitation email will automatically be sent to them
  • They can login and accept the role
