2. Open Forum: Community Issues (~10 min)

Open floor. What are you working on with Swift on Windows? What's blocking you?

• Crash reporting follow-up: Karl was investigating the built-in runtime crash handling (minidump + symbolication tool). Any findings to report back?
• Adobe (David): OLE2.lib linking / SPM support — still the main workflow blocker?

3. Follow-Up: Open Action Items from July 8 (~8 min)

Only carrying forward items still open. Quick status on each — we'll keep it moving.

• Alastair — Assign and drive the open compiler diagnostic PR. Slava hasn't responded; Status?
• Alastair — Schedule the DS2 → LLVM donation meeting with Fred, Ben, and Ted. ~8 weeks overdue; blocking a multi-year discussion. Status?
• Mishal — CI cluster: (a) escalate the OOM on debug-info builds; (b) disable no-assert toolchain on x64 main as the temporary installer-size workaround; (c) VS 2026 image + dynamic VS install investigation. Status on each?
• Fabrice — Check whether PCH improves build performance (setup already in place). Result?

4. Status Updates (~8 min)

6.4 Release & Nightlies

A snapshot landed — progress since the ~20-day nightly outage. It surfaced an issue, which was fixed; the fix then uncovered a new issue now being worked. To catch these earlier, we need a smoke-testing story for the nightlies (see action item, Leonard). Apple help staying on the nightlies would still help, since we can't alter the CI environment.

Main branch: still no snapshot since 5/20. A build indicates the installer is busted due to SxS issues — ties directly to the SxS + SPM manifest-embedding blocker (see 5a).
