About These Wireframes

These are the low-fidelity wireframes for FXpress — the structural skeleton worked out before any visual design. Because FXpress is a single canvas with state rather than a multi-screen flow, the wireframing problem was not "what screens are there" but "what's persistent, what changes, and what opens as a modal layer."

The low-fi stage answered three structural questions:

• What stays on the canvas at all times — the persistent skeleton (header, calculator, Fexi card, CTAs, footer)
• What changes between states — the Fexi read, the recipient calculation, the trigger list
• What opens as a modal over the canvas — Send Now hand-off, Set Trigger sheet, Calendar Reminder

Each block below is the lo-fi structure for a canvas state. The full-fidelity version of every state — with type, color, spacing, and final copy — lives on Hi-Fi Wireframes.

The Persistent Skeleton

Every state shares one structural frame. The lo-fi wireframe locked this first, because everything else is a variation on it.

Structural decisions locked at lo-fi:

• Recipient amount sits directly below the exchange rate, not behind a tap — recipient-amount certainty is the highest-priority research finding, so it can never be a screen away.
• No fee line, and the absence is stated — the lo-fi originally reserved a fee row, because hidden fees were the second-most-cited trust failure. The build removed it: FXpress doesn't move money and can't see the provider's pricing, so the only way to fill that row was to invent a number. The structure now carries a note in its place naming what isn't known.
• Two CTAs, persistent — Send Now (primary) and Set Trigger (secondary). The structure never hides one behind the other.
