Hi, I'm Yash.
I recently graduated from IIT Madras with a Dual Degree in Engineering Design. Throughout college, I found myself drawn to work that sat at the intersection of technology, people, and business not just building solutions, but understanding problems, collaborating with teams, and communicating ideas effectively.
Whether it was managing operations for one of IIT Madras' biggest cultural festivals, creating marketing content, working on engineering projects during internships, or studying commercial aspects of the solar industry, I've always enjoyed taking ownership and learning by doing.
Although I'm applying for a Business Development role, my strength isn't limited to sales. I bring a mix of analytical thinking, structured execution, marketing knowledge, and relationship-building that helps me understand clients and recommend solutions instead of simply trying to sell.
This portfolio highlights a few projects that reflect those strengths.
Saarang is one of India's largest student-run cultural festivals, bringing together thousands of participants, sponsors, artists, and volunteers. As part of the Quality Management team, I worked with multiple departments to improve coordination, documentation, and execution.
Beyond my official responsibilities, I looked for opportunities to create additional value. Instead of outsourcing the festival's theme video, I produced it internally with the design team, helping save nearly ₹15,000. I also introduced an Analytics and Sustainability initiative, worked with NGOs, and contributed to creating a Sustainability Handbook for future editions.
