MyKayla Diamond (I) am a growing creative ecosystem spanning personal content, digital media, entertainment, and original brands including The Diamond Cut. Each project may have its own voice, audience, and creative direction, but everything is connected by one goal: creating thoughtful, high quality work that people genuinely want to experience can be a part of.
I’m very involved in the creative process and believe the strongest work happens through communication, collaboration, organization, and shared ideas. Whether you’re joining for one project, working as a contractor, or growing into a longer term role, I want you to understand the vision behind what I am building and feel comfortable contributing your own expertise to it.
I’m building teams that can grow with my brands, not simply filling positions.
Good communication is one of the most important parts of working with me. You should feel comfortable asking questions, sharing updates, flagging concerns early, and letting me know when something needs clarification. I would rather communicate too much than discover a problem at the deadline.
I may have a strong vision, but I hire people because they bring skills and perspectives that I don’t have. If you see a better approach, have an idea, notice an opportunity, or believe something could be improved, I want you to speak up.
You will often receive clear creative direction, references, examples, and feedback, but I don’t expect you to simply follow instructions without thinking. I value people who understand the goal, contribute ideas, and collaborate with me to make the final result stronger.
Many of the brands and systems I’m building are still evolving. That means processes will be refined, new opportunities may develop, and responsibilities may grow over time. I value people who can adapt while helping create better ways of working together.
I care about the little things. Branding, presentation, storytelling, organization, quality, and consistency all matter to me. You do not have to be perfect, but I appreciate people who pay attention, catch things before they become problems, and take pride in what they deliver.
I believe flexibility and accountability can exist together. Many roles are remote and allow you to manage your own working time, but agreed deadlines, communication expectations, meetings, and deliverables still matter. I care much more about reliable results than watching when you work.
