Project Progress Auto-Tracking Workflow

An automated workflow that records project progress with minimal effort using three linked databases: Tasks → Progress → Projects.

Key Features: Notion Calendar tracking, automatic data population, and external integrations through the Notion API.

Workflow Chart

I use Notion Calendar to log individual tasks in the Task Database (”Quarto Dev Track”). Daily progress is automatically aggregated into the Progress Database (”Quarto Change Log”) using Rollup and Formula properties, and can be synced with external applications via the Notion API (e.g., my Quarto website). The Project Database (”All Projects”) provides a centralized overview of all projects’ progress and key statistics.
