Welcome to Yommi. We value the privacy of your meal records, body profile, allergies, dietary restrictions, and shared content. This Privacy Policy explains how Yommi may collect, use, store, synchronize, and protect your information.

Yommi takes user privacy and data security seriously and follows the principle of collecting as little personal data as possible: when data is not necessary, we do not collect, upload, or retain it. Your meal records and personal information are stored on your device by default. If you use iCloud/CloudKit synchronization supported by the system and the App, related data will be synchronized and stored through Apple's official iCloud service.

1. Information We May Process

To provide food recognition, nutrition estimates, daily records, personalized reminders, map markers, membership subscriptions, sharing, and troubleshooting, Yommi may process the following information:

• Food photos you take or select, food names, portion sizes, nutrition estimates, meal categories, dates, notes, and meal records.
• Height, weight, age, sex, taste preferences, disliked foods, allergies, dietary restrictions, activity level, and health goals that you voluntarily provide.
• Location or place information that you provide after authorization, used to mark meal locations, search nearby places, or display the food map.
• Device information, system version, App version, usage duration, page visits, crash logs, performance data, network status, subscription status, and necessary diagnostic information.

2. Purposes of Use

Yommi uses this information to recognize food images, estimate nutrition, save and synchronize meal records, generate personalized guidance, show daily goal progress, alert you to potential allergy or dietary restriction risks, manage membership benefits, improve the product experience, diagnose crashes, and protect service security.

We will not make your height, weight, age, sex, disliked foods, allergies, dietary restrictions, health goals, or location information public or sell such information simply because you use Yommi.

3. Local Storage, iCloud Synchronization, and AI Analysis

Your Yommi meal records are stored on your device. If iCloud/CloudKit synchronization is enabled for your device, system account, and App configuration, related records may be synchronized to your private iCloud database and are subject to Apple's iCloud and CloudKit terms.

When you use image analysis, reanalysis, or related AI features, food images, necessary context, personalization parameters, or analysis requests may be sent to Yommi Server or the selected AI service provider to generate recognition and nutrition results. We minimize the personal and sensitive information included in requests whenever possible, but certain data is required for AI analysis to function.

4. Location and System Permissions

Yommi does not continuously collect your precise location by default. Location information is processed only after you grant permission and actively use features such as current location, place search, or map markers.

5. Third-Party Services

Yommi may use Apple StoreKit, iCloud/CloudKit, map services, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Performance, Umeng Analytics, Yommi Server, AI service providers, and other necessary services.

Third-party services may process necessary information in accordance with their own policies, including for subscription verification, crash diagnostics, performance monitoring, anonymous or aggregated analytics, cloud synchronization, and AI inference.
