The person who operates the Service (the "Operator") establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy as follows, pursuant to Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea, in order to protect the personal information of data subjects who use the app (the "App") of Nothing to eat, honey (Foxpot, the "Service") and to handle grievances related to it.

The App works within the user's device even without signing in. The features that require signing in are backup and reading YouTube videos. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App keeps where, and when it sends information off the device.

Article 1 (Purposes of Processing Personal Information)

The Operator processes personal information for the following purposes.

  1. Signing in and confirming that a user is the same user
  2. Displaying the profile in the App
  3. Backing up Recipes and moving them to a new device
  4. Calculating the daily and monthly usage limits of AI features
  5. Providing the AI features the user chooses: organizing imported text that could not be organized, and reading the comments of the creator of a YouTube video and reading the recipe in the video
  6. Error reporting: finding and fixing the cause when the App crashes

Article 2 (Information Stored Only on the User's Device)

① If the user does not sign in, all of the following information is stored only on the user's device and is not sent to the Operator.

② The shopping list, the servings last viewed, timers, and step photos are stored only on the device even after signing in. They are deleted along with the App when the App is deleted.

③ When adding a link, the App opens and reads the page directly on the device, and the device itself downloads and stores the original recipe photos. The profile picture of the person who made the recipe is downloaded by the device directly from that site when it is shown. For a saved recipe that does not name its maker, the device reads the original recipe page once more when the recipe is first opened, to find who made it. This process does not go through the Operator's servers. As with any ordinary visit, that site receives the device's connection information (such as its IP address). Only for a YouTube video with no recipe in its description does the App send the video URL to the relay server, under Article 4(4).

④ Text is organized within the device. Text in screenshots is read by the device's text recognition, and text that could not be organized by rules is organized by Apple Intelligence on the device. On devices running iOS 27 or later for which Apple has permitted it for the App, the same text may be organized by Apple's Private Cloud Compute. Apple states that it does not retain that text after processing it.

⑤ Copied text is read only when the user taps the Paste button. Before then, the App only checks with the device whether the copied text is a link or text.
