A welcome from JB

Dear Young Single Adults,

One thing I've noticed is that when young adults look for better opportunities, they sometimes feel that leaving their hometown or moving far from family is their only option. For some, moving is the right step and I respect that. But I also want you to know there may be other paths worth exploring, including opportunities to work from home or build skills that can open doors wherever life takes you.

I created this playbook because I care about the rising generation. I want you to have more than a list of job websites. I want you to understand what different careers involve, recognize the skills you already have, practise with realistic examples, spot possible scams, and make informed decisions about your future.

I'm not here to convince you to work from home. Remote work is one option, not the answer for everyone. Your next chapter might involve studying, starting a business, working locally, moving to another city, serving, or finding a remote role. What matters is that you can explore those possibilities with clearer information, practical skills, and confidence in your ability to keep learning.

As a fellow disciple who loves the rising generation, I hope this small resource helps you see possibilities you may not have considered and reminds you that your career should support the life and commitments that matter to you, not replace them.

Start where you are. Be curious. Try the exercises. Take one meaningful step, then another.

With love and encouragement,
