VoiceStory is a private voice diary app. This Privacy Policy explains how VoiceStory handles information when you use the app.

1. Information We Handle

VoiceStory may handle the following information on your device:

VoiceStory does not require you to create an account.

2. Local Storage

Your diary entries, saved recordings, emotion labels, and app settings are stored locally on your device.

We do not operate a server for storing your diary content, voice recordings, or personal diary data. We do not sell your data.

If you delete the app, data stored locally by the app may be deleted according to your device’s operating system behavior.

3. Voice Recording and Speech Recognition

VoiceStory asks for microphone permission so you can record voice diary entries.

VoiceStory also asks for speech recognition permission so your speech can be converted into text.

Depending on your device and operating system, speech recognition may be processed by Apple, Google, or your device’s built-in speech recognition services. VoiceStory does not control how Apple, Google, or the operating system provider processes speech recognition requests. Their own privacy policies may apply.

VoiceStory itself does not send your diary entries or voice recordings to a server operated by us.
