Save to Mind is a browser extension that saves the page you are currently viewing — its URL, title, and any text you have selected — to your personal Mind account (https://mind.thevoid.garden) when you click the Save button. This policy explains exactly what the extension handles and why.

What data the extension handles

The extension only acts when you explicitly click Save. It does not run in the background, track your browsing, or record pages you do not choose to save. On each save it transmits, to your own Mind account only:

• The current page's URL and title — so the saved item links back to its source.
• Any text you have selected on the page — included only if you have a selection; otherwise nothing is sent.
• Tags you type — sent when you correct or add tags to the saved item.

To authenticate these requests, the extension stores the Mind API token you paste into its settings, along with your chosen environment (URL) settings, in your browser via chrome.storage.sync. This token is a credential for your own Mind account. It is sent only to the Mind server as a bearer token and is never transmitted anywhere else.

How the data is used

Saved pages, selected text, and tags are sent to your Mind account, where they are stored and classified (type + tags) by Mind's AI pipeline so you can find them again. This is the extension's single purpose. The data is used for nothing else.

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties.
• We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or creditworthiness/lending decisions.
• We do not use your data for any purpose unrelated to saving pages to your Mind account.
• We do not collect analytics, telemetry, or browsing history from the extension.

Third-party AI processing

To classify saved items (assign a type and tags) and to power semantic search, Mind's backend sends the content you save — the page's URL, title, and any selected text — to third-party AI inference providers that process it on Mind's behalf, solely to deliver this functionality:

• Classification and embeddings: DeepInfra (https://deepinfra.com), which runs open-source AI models to generate the type/tags classification and the vector embeddings used for semantic search.

DeepInfra acts as a service provider/subprocessor: it processes your data only to return a classification or embedding to Mind, and is not permitted to use it for their own purposes or to sell it. Mind does not use this data to determine creditworthiness or for lending, and does not use or transfer it for any purpose unrelated to the extension's single purpose.
