HomeLog (Chinese name: 家物记, the “App”) is provided by the developer or seller identified on its App Store product page (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We respect your privacy and process information according to the principles of data minimization, specified purposes, and user control.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes, why it is processed, where it is stored, and how you can manage or delete it. Please read this Policy before using the App.

1. Privacy at a Glance

• The App currently does not provide a separate HomeLog account or operate its own user-account server.
• Items, storage areas, checklists, photos, and other content you create are stored only on your device by default.
• Complete App data is synced to the private iCloud database associated with your current Apple Account only if you choose to enable iCloud sync.
• Receipt text recognition, image analysis, and name suggestions use Apple’s Vision framework and available on-device intelligence features. The App does not send images or recognized content to our servers for these features.
• The App does not integrate advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs. We do not sell your data or track you across apps or websites.

2. Information Processed by the App

2.1 Content You Create or Import

To provide household inventory features, the App processes content that you choose to enter, photograph, select, or import, including:

• Item information: names, notes, brands, models, quantities, units, unit prices, purchase dates, tags, and custom fields;
• Storage information: storage area names, hierarchy, location descriptions, and associated items;
• Dates and reminders: production dates, expiration dates, shelf life, warranty periods, inventory thresholds, and reminder settings;
• Checklist information: checklist names, entries, completion status, and associated items;
• Images: item, storage area, order, and receipt images you capture or select through the system photo picker;
• Preferences and state: App language, whether asset values are hidden, onboarding status, the iCloud sync setting, and the last sync time; and
