I fed this to Maia, my autonomous agent built on OpenClaw. She ran it end to end — found the venues, emailed all 30, handled every reply, negotiated to budget, and brought me a shortlist.

It works best with a fully autonomous agent like Openclaw or Hermes (I have both!) that can send and manage email on its own. But you don't need one to start. Drop it into Claude or ChatGPT and it'll research venues, build your shortlist, and draft every outreach email — you just hit send.

The Prompt

You're helping me source a venue for a private lunch for executive women in crypto.

Event: Wednesday, June 10, 11am–1pm or 12–2pm. 30–45 guests. Light bites and drinks, not a seated meal.

Location: a chic private or semi-private space in Manhattan, walkable to the Javits Center. Polished, intimate, high-status — not a generic bar. Skip anything that adds travel friction.

Budget: $6,500 all-in — that total has to cover food, beverage, gratuity, fees, and tax.

Find and contact 20–30 venues that fit. In each outreach, ask: "Do you have availability that day, and is there a package or minimum that works within $6,500 all-in?" Then add: "We're flexible on format if there's a way to keep it polished and within budget."

Track every response in a table: venue, neighborhood, contact, availability, quoted minimum, all-in estimate, capacity, vibe, pros, cons, next step.

Do not book anything. Bring me the shortlist and I'll choose.
