How an export works

1. Filter products. Narrow by status, vendor, collection, creation date, and export options.
2. Preview the result. Check the products and images that matched, and drop any you do not want.
3. Choose names and folders. Pick the file name format and the folder structure for the archive.
4. Export and download. The job runs in the background. The ZIP link appears on the job page and by email.

The basics

What does CS - Export Product Images do?

It downloads your Shopify product and variant images in bulk. You filter the products you care about, preview the matching images, decide how the files and folders should be named, and the app packs everything into a single ZIP archive you can download.

Images come straight from Shopify at their original quality. The app does not resize, recompress, or watermark anything.

Do I need to install anything on my computer?

No. The app runs inside your Shopify admin, and the export runs on our servers. You can close the browser tab while a job is running and come back later. The result is a normal ZIP file that opens on Windows, macOS, and Linux without extra software.

Which permissions does the app ask for?

Read access to products only. The app cannot create, edit, or delete anything in your store, and it never touches orders or customer data.

Which image formats are supported?

Every image format Shopify stores, including JPG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC. Files keep their original format and extension. Videos and 3D models attached to a product are not images, so they are skipped.
