splitescreen does not collect, store, or transmit any personal or sensitive data. It has no analytics, no tracking, no third-party services, no external servers, and makes no network requests of its own.
Your settings (Empty Tab / Single Tab / Align, target monitor), your saved layouts,
and your saved workspaces are kept using Chrome's storage API. This data stays
in your browser; if you are signed into Chrome it syncs across your own devices via
your Google account. We never receive or have access to it.
tabs — to read the titles/URLs of the tabs in your current window so it can show
them and arrange them into split layouts, and to move tabs between windows. Used locally; never sent anywhere.system.display — to read your monitors' geometry so windows tile correctly and so a
split can be sent to a monitor you choose.
