Overview

The video starts at a restaurant with both you and a table of people clearly In the frame, using the front-facing camera. You then turn the camera around, show the receipt up close and do a product demo of splyt. Reference Video Breakdown for every required section.

Some high level requirements to keep in mind:

• When showing the app your phone must take up most of the frame and have no glare.
• Your face should always be clear and in good lighting. If you’re in a dark restaurant, use the front facing flash.
• All audio on these videos are recorded with the video at the location. NO voiceovers.
• Feel free to go a bit off script so you make sure it sounds natural to you. You don't have to read word by word.

Video Breakdown (Section by Section)

The video is filmed with clear audio on site (NO Voiceover) & in normal speed (NO 2x).

Below are the 7 required sections, broken down:

Part 1: Setting the scene (Front Camera) | ~5 sec

• Open with the front-facing camera showing your face close up and the table of people clearly in the frame.
• ⚡ Flash ON if its dark
• Verbal hook:

“I'm about to show you guys how to split a bill between (10 girls/guys) at a group (dinner/lunch/brunch).”

• Pull the camera in a bit closer to your face at around 3s mark
• Leave room above your head to put the text on screen
• Hold this shot long enough for the viewer to register that you’re at a restaurant and bill is about to be split

Part 2: Show your 🧾Receipt + 💳 Card | ~4 sec

• Clearly & up close show the receipt and card (as long as theres no card info ofc.)
• Turn ⚡ Flash ON & make sure the card and receipt take up 3/4ths of the frame
• Verbal script:

“i’m gonna front the bill with my card — get the points — and then have everyone send me their portion of the bill”

• if the receipt has auto gratuity: zoom in and call that out verbally.
