Local-first by design
Full Page Screenshot & Editor captures and edits screenshots entirely in your browser. It does not upload your screenshots or track your activity.
Effective date: September 18, 2026
Plain-language summary: capture starts only when you ask for it, processing stays on your device, and nothing is sent to the developer or a third party.
When you explicitly start a capture, the extension processes:
The extension does not collect account credentials, form submissions, payment information, health information, or authentication data. A screenshot can contain information visible on the page you choose to capture.
Captured data is used only to create the screenshot, display the local editor, apply edits you request, copy the image to your clipboard, or save a file you request. It is not used for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any unrelated purpose.
All capture and image processing happens locally in your browser. The unedited capture is placed briefly in the extension's local IndexedDB database so the preview tab can open it without transferring a large image through extension messages. It is normally deleted from that database as soon as the preview reads it. Unopened temporary results become eligible for automatic deletion after one hour.
Editor state is kept in the preview tab's memory and is released when the preview closes. A screenshot is retained outside the extension only when you explicitly download it or copy it to the operating system clipboard.
The extension does not upload, sell, rent, disclose, or transfer screenshots, webpage content, browsing activity, or personal information to the developer or third parties. It makes no external network requests and contains no remote code, analytics, advertisements, or tracking technology.
