Getting started
Run your own channel
Once clips are on your mini tv you can reorder them into the running order you want, rename them so you always know what's what, and add more any time — or clear the line-up and start a fresh season.
Common questions
The app won't pair with my mini tv.
Make sure the mini tv is switched on and showing its QR code. Hold your phone steady so the whole code is in frame. If the camera doesn't open, check that the app has camera permission in iPhone Settings → the mini tv. Each mini tv has its own private WiFi name and password baked in — pairing reads them straight off the QR code, so a fresh scan is all you need.
My clips won't send, or sending stops partway.
Sending uses the mini tv's own WiFi. Keep your phone close to the device while it transfers, and don't lock the phone mid-send. If a batch stalls, try sending fewer clips at once, then add the rest. Your iPhone briefly leaves your home WiFi to talk to the mini tv — that's normal. It reconnects to your usual network afterwards.
A video won't convert.
Conversion happens on your phone, so very long or very large clips take longer and use more space. Trim long videos before sending, and make sure your phone has a little free storage. Most short clips convert in seconds.
Do my videos go to the cloud or to you?
No. Your videos never leave your phone except to travel over WiFi straight to your own mini tv. There's no server, no account, and no tracking. See our privacy policy for the details.
What do I need to use the app?
A mini tv handheld and an iPhone on iOS 17 or later. (It runs on iPad in portrait too.)
