whatmissing is designed to help you focus without a developer-hosted account or advertising. Most app content stays on your device; the limited platform and SDK data flows are described below.

Who this policy covers

This policy describes the whatmissing mobile app and its support pages. “We” means the developer of whatmissing. For privacy questions, contact [[email protected]].

Information used by the app

Android photo cutouts use Google ML Kit. Photo processing happens on the device; the photos and cutout results are not sent to Google by ML Kit. The ML Kit SDK may send Google limited device and app information, device or installation identifiers, feature-use events, performance metrics, and error codes for diagnostics and usage analytics. This data is encrypted in transit. There is no in-app account, advertising SDK, developer-operated analytics service, or developer server receiving your plans, photos, or app-usage details.

Support and website data

If you email support, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to answer your request and handle related follow-up. Please avoid sending sensitive details that are not needed.

The support pages do not set analytics or advertising cookies. Their hosting provider may process ordinary technical request information, such as IP address and browser details, to deliver and secure the pages. Your email provider and ours may process support correspondence under their own policies.

Sharing and third parties

We do not sell your information or use it for cross-app tracking. Apple and Google provide platform services for app controls, purchases, photos, notifications, and device backups under their own privacy practices. If you choose to share a collage or save it elsewhere, the destination you choose controls that copy.

Storage, deletion, and choices

App data remains on your device until you change or remove it. You can delete individual vision-board photos in the app, revoke optional permissions in iOS or Android Settings, or remove the app to delete its local data. Copies may remain in device backups or destinations you chose, subject to those services' settings.

Support correspondence is kept only as needed to handle your request and any related recordkeeping. You can ask us to delete support messages or ask a privacy question at [[email protected]].
