Mog AI ("we", "us", or the "App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and who it is shared with.
Photos and face analysis — processed entirely on your device
When you take or upload a photo for a face scan, the analysis is performed entirely on your device using Apple's on-device Vision framework and an on-device machine-learning model.
- Your photos are never uploaded to our servers or shared with any third party.
- No third-party AI or analysis service receives your photos or any data derived from them.
- Your photos and scan results are stored locally on your device so you can view your history and track progress. They remain on your device and are removed when you delete the App or clear its data.
Information we collect
- Usage and analytics data. We use PostHog to understand how the App is used (e.g. which screens and features are used) so we can improve it. This does not include your photos.
- Subscription information. Purchases and subscription status are handled by Apple and RevenueCat to manage access to premium features.
- Referral data. If you use the referral feature, we store an anonymous user identifier and referral codes to track referrals and rewards.
- Feedback. If you send feedback, we receive your message and any contact details you provide.
- Device permissions. With your permission, the App accesses your camera and photo library solely to let you provide a photo for on-device analysis.
How we use your data

- To process subscriptions and premium access.
- To understand usage and improve the App.
