TL;DR: Six habits fix almost every Sayso problem before it starts. Keep this page open for your first week of dial blocks.
The six rules
Wear headphones. On speakers, your mic picks up the prospect too, which creates echo and doubles the transcript. Wired or Bluetooth both work.
Call from your computer. Dial from your CRM or dialer on the computer, with its calling option set to internet or computer, not "always use mobile phone". If the call rings on your cell phone, Sayso can't hear it.
Use Google Chrome for the web app, your CRM and your dialer.
Press the yellow Reset every time a new person picks up. Never mid-call. Skip it and Sayso thinks you're still in the last conversation.
Forgot to copy your notes? Every call is saved in Conversations at app.asksayso.com.
Let your antivirus through on install. If the install is blocked (common on Windows with PC Matic or McAfee), add Sayso to the allow list or pause antivirus just for the install, then turn it back on.
Every dial block
Headphones on, mic selected
Launch the Coach: ⚡ bolt or Control + S (Mac), tray icon or Alt + Shift + S (Windows). Playbook: Control + B (Mac) or Alt + Shift + B (Windows).
Pick Buyer or Seller. It can't change mid-session, so group your calls.
Press Start. Give prompts about 30 seconds to warm up.
A new person picks up: press Reset. Choose Copy and reset to grab the last call's notes.
Done for the day: press End. Between calls, only send the calendar invite and paste notes. Save other admin work for after you press End. Leave Auto Stop at 5 minutes.
During the call
Glance, don't read. Script first, prompts in the pauses.
Use Condensed prompts (Settings › Cue › Prompt Style). Short directions you say in your own words.
Buffer Time: if you Reset right when someone picks up, set it to 0.
Hover a prompt to pin or close it. Tick the box by the menu icon to collapse prompts.
