Common questions

I bought Remove Ads on another device — how do I bring it over?

Tap Settings › Remove Ads › Restore Purchases while signed into the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase. The entitlement transfers across every device on that Apple ID.

Why does the app ask permission to track me?

That's iOS's App Tracking Transparency prompt. Granting it lets the AdMob ads use your advertising identifier (IDFA) to choose more relevant ads. Declining still shows ads — they're just less personalised. The app's training features are identical either way.

How do I import my own PGN?

Library tab › ＋ › Import PGN. Pick a .pgn file from Files / iCloud Drive / a connected USB drive. The app indexes the games off-screen and shows a progress bar for files larger than a few hundred games.

The app crashed / behaves weirdly.

Open Settings › Send Feedback and describe what you were doing right before. Include the iPhone or iPad model and your iOS version (Settings › General › About) — that's almost always enough for us to track down what happened.
