1. Purpose

The purpose of this test plan is to define the approach, scope, resources, and activities for manual testing of the nopCommerce demo e-commerce website. This plan covers functional testing, usability testing, mobile responsive testing, cross-browser testing, high-level API validation, and SQL data validation scenarios to ensure core user flows work as expected.

2. Test Objectives

• Validate core e-commerce user flows (browse → product → cart → checkout).
• Validate user authentication flows (register, login, logout).
• Identify functional defects and usability issues that impact user experience.
• Verify form validations and error handling.
• Validate application behavior across supported browsers.
• Perform high-level API validation to support UI behavior.
• Demonstrate SQL data validation knowledge using read-only scenarios.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
