Chico Creek Signs began in 2014 as a small eBay business run by Ben and Fran. Joined by Marine Corps Veteran Mike in 2015, the team began designing and producing custom decor from a spare bedroom. Today, Mike owns the company, leading a Chico, California-based team that crafts beautiful custom metal signs and personalized decor at affordable prices. Every home tells a story, and the decor you choose helps share that story with the world. Finding the right piece of art to reflect your family's personality can transform an ordinary house into a welcoming home. At Chico Creek Signs, we understand the value of meaningful home decor. We pride ourselves on bringing you beautiful, distinctive items that look great in any living space. But before our signs found their way onto your walls, we had our own unique story to write. Here is a look at how our small, family-built business grew into what it is today.

How did Chico Creek Signs get started? In 2014, Ben and his wife Fran started selling reproduction signs on eBay as a side business. They quickly saw success selling online, which prompted Ben to start talking with his friend Mike about how to grow the venture. In 2015, Mike—a Veteran of the Marine Corps—moved back to Chico, California, and started working in the business with Ben. That exact moment is when Chico Creek Signs was officially born. Over the next year, Ben and Mike began acquiring more equipment and developing new skills. They took the business to the next level by designing and producing all of their own signs right out of a spare bedroom in Ben's house.
