I made my first attempt at creating an actual online store - LIVE and running for a bit.. but I have given up.

Firstly - after some back and forth with the FluentCart team it seems the PLUGIN is only designed to work "fully" with FSE themes. We pulled the trigger and built the website using GREENSHIFT (FSE) Theme.

Despite running an FSE theme, it seems a lot of the features still are so buggy and do not work. I love the idea of FluentCart going in and slapping WooCommerce but after trying my best to make this thing work on a customer website, I have given up…

I tried communicating with customer support a few times, but it seems all the fixes are just “override this, override that”. The issue is the customer wants editability too…

I have listed the problems that I believe FluentCart needs to address before it can be “Production ready”.

Single Product (No variations) - Doesn’t display price

On variations the price displays just fine - however on SINGLE product it does not.

No price visible on frontend

Proof i am editing ONLY the FluentCart template

Price is saved and published

Backend block doesn’t really display any level of customisation

SKU - Vital ID element missing…

How can you have stock tracking, but no SKU?

Where do we add the SKU?

It’s even mentioned in the GLOSSARY of the documentation?
