Hi everyone đź‘‹

As the end of the month is nearing, so it is a beginning of the new chapter. We will be prototyping our creative residency in Casa Selva from 1 until 21 July. I will use this opportunity to share more about the vision and intention that has been guiding this residency into being.

There were many challenges on this journey, and I’m most grateful for all of them as well as for the opportunity to still co-host this gathering despite major unforeseen changes (such as shifting from the house in Tuscany, changing the dates of residency in the last moment, searching for a new space, and having a few of us deciding not to attend this time which transformed us into a core group of three of us).

In the midst of all this, the spirit of the Wild House has been guiding us and brought us to Casa Selva… Here, we are welcomed by the great synchronicity and resonance of our dreams and aspirations towards a more beautiful, care-full future. The future we are imagining into being and leaving as our legacy for those who come after us. I hold great ideas and visions in my heart for a beautiful container that Casa Selva already is and will be for many of us in this great quest.

As pioneers of both Casa Selva and Wild House residency, there are a few strong shared pillars around which we can orient and structure our time being here. Those are:

When I’m writing this, I have a strong sense that what we’re actually doing here is birthing a new human into being. We’re doing this by micro-experimentation and practical research. Making one single, most important step at time. Stopping to sense the future and the tales it wants to tell. This is how we move forward with all life that includes not just our minds, but the wisdom of our bodies, hearts, birds, forests and skies.

In this dance together, we may want to share rituals, ceremony and celebration as a way to practice deep listening and gratitude. Here’s a proposal for structuring our time together in the residency in a slow, nourishing and meaningful way:

I believe all of these can be offered on a weekly basis, and everyone in this group is welcomed to join our shared rhythms here. We will be following up with a schedule during this week.

We will also offer some sessions for the group in the Liminal Village, such as Contact Improvisation Lab by a few of us, Conscious Relating by Andreas, and Authentic Movement by Anica.

There is a few tools and resources that would greatly support our creative work and offerings while here. We’d love to hear from Laura if this is something that can be provided by Casa Selva:
