“They seem to like you.” a soft voice spoke in a garden. It filled with many roses, daisies, and carnation grew and swayed with the soft spring wind. The fountain in the middle pebbling with water as little fish swam inside. The gentle voice coming from a middle aged woman around her late 30’s. She wore a gardening dress with gloves her hair pinned back as she smiled at the little giggles erupting from the child beside her.

“Alicia be careful dear butterflies are fragile creatures.” the woman pinched the young girl's cheek caring as Alicia squealed. “Okay momma but why are they fragile?”

The woman seemed to stop genuinely thinking before taking the gardening gloves off dusting the dirt off before turning to Alicia with a sad but small smile. Her eyes seemed to be filled with nostalgia as she spoke, “Because they're soft and beautiful creatures. Just like you my darling.” she brushed some hair out the way of Alicia's dirty face leaning to give her daughter a forehead kiss.

“Will I gain wings like them?” Alicia asked excitedly looking up at her mother. “....one day but when you do please don't become trapped. Not like mommy ok?”

**I’ll break your bones with all the love I carry**

“Alicia dollface!!” my heart melted as my lower stomach heated up turning to see Caleb my high school sweetheart and husband waving enthusiastically from down the pavement. We had been married for a few years now and it still felt like we were on cloud 9 with our relationship. He got his dream job and I was able to grow a big garden in our greenhouse.
