✍️ Who produces GEM

The GEM Resource Hub is a free library of playbooks, tools, and templates for running a restoration business, A to Z, with the most depth on building commercial revenue. It is organized around four playbooks: Commercial, Residential, Production & Operations, and Exit & Enterprise Value. It is produced by Andy Neiman, VP of Partnerships at RocketLevel Commercial, with the RocketLevel team and outside research. RocketLevel is a bolt-on inside sales team that strengthens commercial pipeline for restoration contractors, from single-market operators to multi-location groups.

Pages are built on published standards and industry research: Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) standards including the S500 for water damage and the S520 for mold, OSHA and EPA regulations, state statutes and licensing rules. Two industry surveys carry most of the benchmark numbers: the Restoration Industry Association (RIA) Cost of Doing Business Report, a free download from the RIA, and the annual State of the Industry Report from Cleaning & Restoration (C&R) Magazine, powered by KnowHow, which you download through a sign-up form.

Andy has spent more than fifteen years inside restoration, leading partnerships, operations, sales and marketing across some of the largest contractor networks in North America. The wider RocketLevel leadership team carries decades in the trades between them.

What he saw, over and over: the operators who win commercial have a system behind the work. Budget and grit help. The system is what keeps the calls going out the week every crew is on a water job. That is the argument this library is built on, and it is why the deepest shelves here are commercial.

A bolt-on inside sales team for your commercial side. We do the chasing. Your people stay the face across the table, closing deals and building relationships, whether that is a dedicated commercial rep or you.

Do I have to be a customer to use the GEM Resource Hub?
