Endemic Life consists of non-hostile creatures, often used as livestock or as mounts. Things like insects, fish, and other creatures can be found here.
Monsters are beasts who actively pursue humans, causing damage to their livelihood, towns, and lives. They are fearsome foes and take many lives.
Sapient creatures are beasts with cultures of their own, whose intelligence may be compared to mortalkind in varying degrees.
