The player moves between two distinct dimensions:
The passage between these two dimensions is via mirrors. By entering a mirror, the player accesses a specific level of the imaginary dimension.
Riddles are distributed throughout the school (normal dimension), while their solutions can be found in the various levels of the imaginary dimension. Each level contains a single clue or solution, directly linked to a specific puzzle. So, for every puzzle in the school, there's a corresponding level in the imaginary dimension.
Exploring a level in the imaginary dimension is rewarded with a unique solution or clue, encouraging the player to actively explore these spaces. In addition, the player will be given additional information about the game's story while he’s exploring.
Mirrors, scattered throughout the school, act as portals to the levels of the imaginary dimension. Each mirror is linked to a specific level, forming a system of fixed pairs. The school acts as a central HUB, grouping together all the puzzles and linking the different levels of the imaginary dimension via these mirrors.
This system is reminiscent of Super Mario 64, where the castle acts as a HUB linking the different levels.
In The HUB, we must avoid placing a puzzle and the mirror leading to its solution too close together. One of the game's objectives is to encourage exploration and discovery. The idea is that players first explore the imaginary dimension, discovering various clues, then later realize by encountering a riddle in the normal dimension:
"Ah, that riddle... The solution is what I saw in that level in the imaginary dimension!"
When the game is launched, a short level and a few lines of dialogue introduce the narrative context of the game (see Narration Bible).
After this setting, the player appears in a class. This class allows the player to get to grips with the movement system, and slightly deepens the narrative introduction by proposing interactions with 2 NPC's present in the class. Link to this class, there is a corridor in wich the player encounter his first mirror, which acts as a tutorial and introduces the mechanics of puzzles, mirrors and solutions to be found in the imaginary dimension.
Solving this first puzzle unlocks the rest of the game, giving access to the HUB and the rest of the puzzles.

Once you've unlocked the HUB, you'll be free to explore the entire school. Some rooms may be inaccessible until one or more specific puzzles have been solved, but they will not contain puzzles or mirrors. Instead, they will offer other types of reward.
The aim is to leave the player free to access any mirror at any time.
Once all the HUB puzzles have been solved, the player will be able to access the game's secret room.
