The Define phase produced a sharpened problem statement, five POVs anchored to specific users, seventeen HMWs that opened the design space, two personas grounded in research, and a journey map identifying five intervention points in the workflow.
Ideate took that material and turned it into something concrete: a prioritized feature set that named what OmniRisk would actually be, and three task flows that mapped the core interactions enforcing the workflow's real dependencies.
Two principles guided the Ideate work:
The feature set was prioritized into tiers based on research evidence and journey map intervention priority. Audit-trail generation and automated reconciliation ranked higher than predictive AI — a deliberate prioritization from the journey map's key insight: reconciliation is the workflow's emotional low point, and a defensible record of every step is what makes exposure recoverable when problems surface days later.
