Location: New York, NY, with local travel to grocery partners in Queens and customer residences in the South Bronx
Employment type: Part-time (~20 hours/week); delivery-run schedule, including afternoons and occasional weekends as needed
Compensation: $25/hour, plus reimbursement for approved business expenses
Vehicle: Your own reliable vehicle strongly preferred; an SUV or van is especially helpful

Groupr is hiring a bilingual Delivery Driver focused on shopping, packing, and delivering grocery orders. You'll shop and pack orders at our partner store, deliver them to South Bronx customers, and communicate with customers and store teams to make every delivery feel reliable and respectful.
Groupr is a community-powered grocery delivery service serving the South Bronx. We coordinate orders, shop and pack them with care, and deliver directly to customers, while building real trust with the neighborhoods we serve.
We're hiring a Delivery Driver to own the on-the-ground logistics of a Groupr delivery run: shopping and packing orders at our partner store, delivering groceries to homes, and communicating with customers and store teams along the way.
This is not a drop-and-go courier role. You'll know the orders, solve problems in real time, and help customers feel respected and supported. The role combines the practical judgment of a grocery shopper and delivery driver with the warmth and communication skills needed to keep every delivery running smoothly.
Shop and fulfill orders at our partner grocery store, picking items accurately, handling substitutions with customers in real time, and packing orders for transport.
Deliver groceries to customers in the South Bronx, including apartment buildings and walk-ups. Some buildings don't have elevators.
Coordinate with store staff — cashiers, butchers, produce teams — to keep shopping, checkout, and packing running smoothly.
Communicate proactively with the operations team and customers about order status, substitutions, delivery timing, building access, and any issues that come up.
Keep orders organized across multiple customers, addresses, labels, substitutions, and delivery instructions.
Surface what's not working by flagging inventory gaps, packing issues, delivery challenges, and customer feedback so we can improve the process together.
Having your own reliable vehicle is strongly preferred; an SUV or van is especially helpful. Groupr provides all delivery equipment. Reimbursement and insurance details will be shared during the hiring process.
