Founding Covenant — Lion and Light

Seriyo Starbright is a god and the divine founder of the original Light Order. During the rise of the first Felix dynasty, Seriyo joined with the Felix line to help establish the Light Order and support the growth of organized civilization within the Imperial City.

The alliance was real, but the Felix dynasty was corrupt from the beginning. The dynasty recognized that Seriyo's ideals of protection, service, discipline, purification, healing, and sanctioned purpose could legitimize political expansion and central authority.

The Felix line did not invent Seriyo's ideals; it learned to use them.

Seriyo Starbright

• He helped establish the Light Order and supported the rise of civilization in the Imperial City.
• After the Order and city became stable and prosperous, Seriyo withdrew from routine mortal affairs and became complacent, believing the institution could preserve its own purpose.
• His absence was interpreted as continued approval of the system.
• Later events reveal that the Felix dynasty used his name, ideals, symbols, and institutional legacy to legitimize control.
• Seriyo values Hikari Starbright because her protective ideals align closely with his original intent for the Light Order.

The Felix Dynasty — Corruption from the Beginning

The Felix bloodline has never been a benevolent dynasty that later fell into corruption. Its public achievements and private brutality developed together.

The dynasty believes prosperity, order, and protection justify extreme control. Roads, law, wards, military power, commerce, temples, and public safety coexist with coercion, disappearance, experimentation, conquest, and inherited bloodline weapons.

The Red Warden is the clearest surviving proof. The Felix bloodline created him long ago as a killing instrument and used him across its history as a concealed answer to enemies, resistance, and threats the Crown wanted erased. His existence predates King Felix IV.

The Modern Light Guild

The ancient Light Order eventually became the modern Light Guild.

Its current mortal leadership is the Council of Three Saints:

• Saint Lucien — Elder of doctrine and theological authority.
• Saint Kalder — Elder associated with militant protection, security, and sanctioned force.
