Welcome to the PvM Mentor team 💎 Being a PvM mentor means you're one of the most important resources this clan has for helping members grow as players. Whether someone is attempting their first raid or pushing toward a combat achievement milestone, you're the person who helps make that feel possible. This handbook covers what's expected of you, how our programs work, and how to make sure you're not burning yourself out in the process.

💟 The Most Important Thing: You Are Not On Call 24/7

Mentoring should never feel like a second job. You have a life outside of this game and we respect that completely. The systems we've built around this role are designed to be flexible and opt-in wherever possible. Do what you can, when you can, and communicate openly if you're feeling stretched. Gigi is your first point of contact as head of the mentor team, and Healsha is here to support you both. If something isn't working for you, say so and we'll figure it out together.

What Is a PvM Mentor?

A PvM mentor is an experienced player who helps clan members learn new content in a low pressure, judgment free environment. That means being patient, being encouraging, and meeting people where they are. Members come to you because they're anxious, not because they're incapable. Your job is to make the content feel approachable, not to produce perfect players.

Each mentor has their own areas of specialty. These are listed on the PvM Mentors page, so members know who to reach out to for what. If your specialties change or you want to add something new, let butt looker/Lemon know so the page stays up to date.

Our Programs

Office Hours

Office hours are drop-in streams where you broadcast yourself running content in Discord and open the floor to observers and questions. You're already doing the content anyway, this is just making it an opportunity for members to learn passively before they feel ready to jump in themselves.

How it works:

Office hours are entirely opt-in. There's no schedule or expectation around how often you do them. If it feels like a good opportunity to share, go for it. If you're not feeling it, don't. Simple as that.
