Problem & Solution

Track 3: Life Admin Making official forms (government, banking, college, insurance) understandable for people who struggle with reading, English, or digital interfaces — using conversational AI.

Why this problem? Only 38% of Indian households are digitally literate (NSO 78th round, 2020–21), and the gap is sharpest exactly where form-filling matters most: rural households sit at 25% digital literacy versus 61% urban, and among Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes it drops to 38% and 31% respectively. On top of that, most official forms are drafted in formal English or bureaucratic Hindi, using field labels that assume prior familiarity with the process (e.g. "domicile certificate," "annexure," "self-attested"). The result is that people who are otherwise capable end up depending on cyber cafés, agents, or relatives to fill out a form correctly - often paying for it, and sometimes getting it wrong anyway. We picked this because the barrier isn't really "technology access" anymore (India has 800M+ internet users) - it's comprehension. A voice-first, Hinglish-native conversational layer addresses the actual bottleneck rather than the access problem others have already solved.
