My research lies at the intersection of applied linguistics, TESOL, educational policy, language assessment, and educational equity. I am interested in understanding how language policies, assessment practices, and institutional decision-making shape learners' educational experiences, particularly in multilingual and international contexts.
My current work explores context-sensitive language assessment, and academic language demands in higher education. More broadly, I am interested in bridging research and practice by examining how educational systems can become more equitable, transparent, and responsive to the needs of diverse learners.
