Auto-Refill is an optional top-up that's off by default: you enable it yourself and can turn it off at any time. Once enabled, whenever your credits drop below your plan's refill threshold, Higgsfield charges your saved payment method for the amount you chose and adds the credits instantly, at a rate of $1 = 18 credits, so your workflow doesn't get interrupted.

What is Auto-Refill?

Auto-Refill is a prepaid top-up system: instead of manually buying a Credit Pack every time you run low, you set a refill amount once, and the system purchases credits automatically when your balance drops below the threshold. Auto-Refill credits are valid for 90 days from purchase and are spent last, after your subscription, Credit Pack, and promo credits.

How do I set up Auto-Refill?

  1. Click your avatar and select Manage Account.
  2. Open Subscription and find the Credits auto-refill section.
  3. Select Set-up & Enable and choose your refill amount.
Setting Value
Refill amount $20, $40, $90, $150, or $300, your choice
Triggers when balance drops below Your plan's refill threshold, shown in the set-up window
Rate $1 = 18 credits
Requirement A valid saved payment method
Availability Not available on entry-level plans

Once enabled, a separate Auto-refill credits counter appears in the Credits block, next to your monthly credits.

How do I turn Auto-Refill off?

From the same place: Manage AccountSubscriptionCredits auto-refill. Once disabled, your balance no longer tops up automatically, and you buy credits manually when you run low.

When exactly am I charged?

The charge happens automatically each time your credit balance drops below your plan's threshold: the system charges your chosen amount and adds the credits immediately, so you keep generating without a break. The exact threshold and amount are stated in the set-up window and in the confirmation when you enable Auto-Refill.

If the automatic charge fails, for example because the card was declined, credits simply aren't added. The balance won't top up until a charge succeeds: check or update your payment method to resume.

Do Auto-Refill credits expire, and what happens if I cancel?

Auto-Refill credits are valid for 90 days from the date of purchase. If you cancel your subscription, they become unavailable until you reactivate: the 90-day timer keeps running, and any credits still within that window are accessible again once you have an active subscription. Can I get a refund for an Auto-Refill charge?

Yes, under the same conditions as Credit Packs: the credits from that charge haven't been spent, and the request is made within 7 days of the charge or as permitted by the law in your jurisdiction. See How do I request a refund?
