Credits are Higgsfield's currency for generating images and videos. Every generation costs a certain number of credits depending on the model, resolution, and duration, and the exact cost is shown on the Generate button before you confirm. Subscription credits reset regularly and don't roll over: on monthly plans with each paid renewal, on annual plans every 30 days. Credits can't be used without an active subscription.

Credits are consumed in this order: subscription credits first, then Credit Pack credits, then promo credits, and finally Auto-Refill credits. The system switches automatically.
The practical difference between the two top-ups: a Credit Pack is a one-time purchase you make when you need extra credits right now, while Auto-Refill tops up your balance automatically whenever it drops below the threshold you set, so you never run out mid-project. Credits are deducted for all generations on web, MCP, CLI, Canvas, and Supercomputer: images, videos, re-rolls, and upscaling.
What doesn't deduct credits: Unlimited model generations and free generations included in your plan on higgsfield.ai, and browsing the platform. Unlimited access applies only on higgsfield.ai. Any generation made outside it, including through MCP, CLI, Canvas, Supercomputer, and other automated tools, always deducts credits, regardless of plan.
Some plans include free generations on specific models: a one-time pool granted when you purchase the plan. For example, a set number of generations may be provided for Soul 2.0 and Soul Cinema without consuming credits. Free generations do not renew upon your subscription renewal. The exact pools are listed in the Unlimited & Free Gens section of your plan's card on the Pricing page. Free generations follow the same rule as Unlimited access: higgsfield.ai only.
Your credit balance is visible in the top navigation bar on higgsfield.ai. For a detailed breakdown, click your avatar and open Manage Account → Subscription: the Credits card shows your monthly balance and Auto-Refill credits separately.
Credits Usage History shows a full log of every credit operation on your account: each generation with the model used and credits deducted, credit returns from failed generations, and a per-model breakdown of your spending. Use it to understand where your credits went or to confirm that a refunded generation returned its credits. The log covers activity from the date the feature was enabled on your account, so operations before that date may not appear.
