Step 1: Make the squad

After creating your account, tap the Create Squad button in the bottom nav on your home tab. You'll need:

• A squad name
• (Optional) Your school + Greek life organization. Associating your squad unlocks special promo offers later — most tied to philanthropy. More in Brand Partnerships & Philanthropy.

Squads are private by default — people need your squad code or invite link to join. You can switch to public (anyone can join) in squad settings after creating.

After creating, the settings gear in the top-right corner is where you edit everything: squad name, public/private, rotating the squad code, removing members, and more — full breakdown in Managing Your Squad.

Step 2: Pick your mascot

Your mascot represents your squad across every league you're in. Some mascots are choosable by default, and more can be earned or bought — full breakdown in Mascots.

Step 3: Invite your squad

A new squad starts empty — no leagues, no members yet. Two ways to fill it:

• Squad code — share it, your friends enter it in the app
• Invite link — they tap it, download the app if they don't have it, create an account, and get asked to join your squad

The code or link gets anyone into a private squad. If your squad is public, anyone can join without either — less common, but it's an option.

Don't skip this. Some leagues set a minimum squad size, and certain challenges may require a squad count to unlock.

Step 4: Join or create a league

If you're in Greek life, there's a good chance leagues already exist for your community — check with your IFC director or email [email protected] to find yours. Otherwise, create your own — see Creating a League.
