Update your features

You can update the features for your event, even if you have already paid for and published your event.

• You don’t need to return your features and purchase new ones.
• The tokens you used to **publish** your event the first time (allocated tokens) will be used again to publish it the second time.

How to update features

After you publish your event or meeting, you can update your features. Features include total live hours, number of avatars, and rooms and engagements.

To update your features, go to the dashboard,

• Click on your event or meeting card
• Go to the **publish tab**
• In the event price card, click on an underlined feature item that you want to update
  • These will take you to the places where you can update your features
• After you have updated your features, go back to the publish tab
• You can then click on the re-publish button to update your event’s published features

Example: You paid for your tokens and published your event, then discovered that you need more avatars. You update your avatar count, and go to re-publish your event. The tokens that you use to re-publish your event will be the same tokens that were used to publish your event the first time. In other words, the allocated tokens from publishing it the first time will be reused to publish it again. You may or may not need to purchase more tokens, depending on the price of the updated features.

Available and Allocated tokens

**Allocated** tokens can turn back into **available** tokens when you re-publish an event. This happens when your re-published event is less expensive than your previously published event — the extra unused tokens become available tokens again. Available tokens can be used for other expenses and events.
